what we do
positive pathways programme
Youth Connect’s Positive Pathways Programme is a preventative and early intervention programme designed to support young people who may be at risk of disengagement from education, social exclusion, exploitation, poor mental health, or future unemployment.
We work with young people to identify their strengths, overcome barriers, and build the confidence and skills needed to make positive choices and achieve their full potential. Through a combination of targeted workshops, one-to-one mentoring and an engagement led delivery approach, we provide practical guidance and trusted support at a crucial stage in a young person’s development.
community outreach
Youth Connect is committed to creating positive opportunities for young people by empowering them to have a voice, develop new skills, and strengthen community connections. Through our partnership with Somerville Adventure Playground, we have launched a youth-led podcast initiative that provides a platform for young people to share their experiences, discuss issues that matter to them, and actively shape their community. We also deliver community events – the latest being skate events at Beckenham Place Park and Bellingham Green, bringing together young people and families in safe, inclusive spaces that encourage physical activity, creativity and positive social engagement. By working alongside local partners and listening to the voices of young people, Youth Connect helps build stronger, more connected communities where every young person has the opportunity to thrive.
